Mavenir deploys End-to-End Virtualised Network Functions on CloudRange Worldwide

October 2, 2018

Mavenir oriented towards transforming mobile network economics for Communication Service Providers deployed End-to-End Virtualised Network Functions on their NFV Platform CloudRange across the world to enable greater Network Function Virtualisation and Container Management and Orchestration for Tier 1 mobile operators around the world. These End-to-End Virtualisation functions include comprehensive cloud-native Virtualised Functions including vEPC, vSBC and vIMS, supporting VoLTE, RCS, and various IMS service applications for their consumers and enterprises while delivering increased business agility, network elasticity, and enabling new commercial opportunities.

Pradeep Kohli, President and CEO of Mavenir says,

“When we announced CloudRange last year, it was in response to the erosion of market share and ARPU that indicated mobile operators needed a software-only approach to lower costs, increase revenues and enables new business models. Now, a year later, it’s live on very large scale NFV deployments. Mavenir’s end-to-end Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) enable operators to launch new services or capabilities that integrate smoothly with existing operations, as well as the flexibility to adjust deployments based on subscriber behaviour and evolving new technologies while avoiding legacy supplier lock-in and proprietary approaches.”

CloudRange is a fully automated NFV solution with a web-scale, cloud-native architecture that reduces network costs for most Communications Service Providers who wish to include scalability, and automation for efficient operation of communication. With their new End-to-End Network Function Virtualisation, CloudRange can now allow Service Providers to realise new business revenues more efficiently using easily scalable service models using features such as Lifecycle Management, Closed-loop automation, Cloud Native and Web-scale architectures, and Open Stack Deployments.

All these features are in addition to the CNF features which Cloud Range already delivers such as traffic aggregation, load balancing and end-to-end service assurance with analytics, monitoring and orchestration. CloudRange also includes Virtual Taps and Traffic monitoring along with open networking switches that are fully controlled and managed by Mavenir SDN-Controller, to ensure full and comprehensive operational control.

With the addition of the End-to-End Network Function Virtualisation, Communication Service Providers will have an easier time hunting new business opportunities and realising new revenues while maintaining the agility, elasticity, flexibility, and scalability of their businesses.
