Iron Bow Technologies, an information technology and managed services provider to government, healthcare, and commercial markets announced the launch of CLINiC, a video communications and enhanced patient monitoring system powered by Vidyo.
Iron Bow and Vidyo have been partners for a long time and had talked about product development plans at the American Telemedicine Association annual conference in April.
Vidyo’s integration with major Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendors such as Allscripts, Cerner and Epic, provide both ease of deployment, streamlined clinical workflows and protection of legacy investments.
– Rene LaVigne, President and CEO of Iron Bow
The CLINiC is based on Iron Bow’s Clinical Care Device platform named CLINiC.
It will utilize Vidyo’s proprietary end-point video communications software and Vidyo’s Hybrid Cloud offering to provide crystal clear audio, video quality and reliability, and noise cancellation while maintaining high levels of unit performance uptime.
The CLINiC offers maximum deployment flexibility as it can be mounted on a wall, desk, arm, or cart, ideal for acute, post-acute, and ambulatory settings.
We’re very excited to see the CLINiC deliver on a big need in the virtual care marketplace: an affordable solution that optimizes clinical resources, increases access to specialists and intensivists, reduces length of stay and associated costs, and enables virtual rounding and quick and easy coordination on complex cases
– Michael Patsalos-Fox, CEO of Vidyo
Iron Bow and Vidyo will both showcase the product in their booths at the Telemedicine & Telehealth service provider’s summit being held in Glendale, Arizona on October 8th and 9th.
