Tech Impact, a provider of non-profit technology solutions for non-profit organizations, has launched their non-profit information security division on October 8th, 2018.
While the Information Security Division will continue to serve Tech Impact’s regular security services, which are exceptional by all means, this division will specialize in making scalable security measures to ensure adaptability and provide security to all kinds of non-profit firms.
They will also provide customized solutions against specialized and specific security threats.
Tech Impact Launches Non-Profit Information Security Division
The development of this team was in response to the rising levels of attacks on non-profit organizations because of the common beliefs that non-profit organizations do not have enough capital to spend on security and use old, outdated technology which is simpler to hack as compared to the security measures placed in firms operation for profit.
They are thought to be more susceptible to phishing scams and other attacks of the sort.
Additionally, many non-profits carry sensitive personal data which are of lucrative value in both the black market and to government attackers alike, such as medical data, or bank details and financial activities.
The majority of the security products available to nonprofits are one-size-fits-all solutions, which are often prohibitively expensive and address advanced threats that just don’t apply to most nonprofits while ignoring the basic threats that actually pose the greatest risk to small and mid-size organizations
