7 Web Hosting Services that Provide the Greatest Value for Money

July 27, 2020

Web hosting service providers are no longer out of reach. They’re not budget-busting services as they once were. This is what makes them so attractive to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

7 Web Hosting Services that Provide the Greatest Value for Money 1

However, there are cheap hosting services that give great value for money. This is why even single paying entrepreneurs can even invest in them. So here’s a list of the seven best cheap web hosting providers.

  • 7.    iPage

1.    DreamHost

Starting at $4.95 a month, DreamHost provides cheaper, shared web hosting than anyone else. There is no visitor limit, as well. However, there are specific cons such as no 24/7 customer support and no industry cPanel. Also, its modest uptime is something that will discourage those that want more premium services.

2.    HostGator

HostGator is a very popular choice for those looking to shift their businesses online. It costs just $5.95 a month and is even cheaper for a three-year deal. Most people will love the service’s 99.99% uptime and its optional website builder service. However, there are specific cons to the service, of course. HostGator doesn’t have any free backups or domains. It also can’t host more than one website on its cheapest plan.

3.    InMotion

InMotion starts at just $7.99 a month/ It has one of the most comprehensive sets of features of any provider on this list. Its basic plan allows you to host multiple websites, and gives you free backups, domains, and SSL security. For most, this is the best value for money web hosting.

Not only that, but InMotion also has 24/7 dedicated support, a website builder, and unlimited email accounts. However, there is a limit on monthly visitors at 360,000. Though, you’ll probably not exceed that limit unless your site takes off.

As for cons, InMotion only allows 25 subdomains on its cheapest plan. It can’t host online stores on its most affordable plan, either.

4.    A2 Hosting

A2 Hosting’s most attractive feature, besides the price of $7.99 per month, is the anytime money-back guarantee. It seems too good to be accurate, but it’s not. The service also offers 24/7 personal help and support. Cons include no free backups or domains on its cheapest plans. That may be unattractive to those that can’t pay up, but it’s not a deal-breaker. The uptime, at 99.95% is not terrible, but it could be better.

5.    Bluehost

BlueHost also starts at $7.99 a month, gives you free backups and domains, and an excellent uptime of 99.98%. While it only offers 50 GB of storage on its cheapest plan, it’s still not nothing. Those willing to pay a little more can upgrade easily. However, its limit of 32,000 monthly visitors on its cheapest plans can irk individual small businesses.

6.    Hostinger

Hostinger starts at $7.99 a month and includes a fantastic array of features. For WordPress users specifically, there’s a strong onboarding experience. There is also multilingual customer support. That’s a fantastic advantage over most other US-based hosting providers. However, its cons like no phone customer support and low uptime percentage, are frustrating.

7.    iPage

The most expensive on this list, at $9.99 a month, iPage has apparent flaws. The uptime of 99.94% adds up over the years, and there’s just one plan to choose from. However, the offering of unlimited email accounts and subdomains and 24/7 customer support is very attractive.

Among these seven hosting providers, anyone can be of great value to customers. So now it’s up to you to understand which one matches your need and dive into any of these options without any hesitance.
