Colors that Will Improve Conversions

Colors that will improve conversions depend on the taste of the niche you’re catering to. Men usually like deep blues, greens, and black. These are all minimalist colors that are associated with minimalism and manliness. Women, however, like colors like pink, purple, green, etc.

However, you need to segment your audience more than just by gender. If you want colors to improve conversions, you’ll have to dig a little deeper. Here are just a few colors and what they invoke.

Blue is for Trust

Blue is a color that you find everywhere on the internet. Buttons, fonts, and logos are filled with blue. It’s a familiar color and stands for tranquility as well. However, it also stands for trust. Since water, the sky, and certain animals are blue, you associate it with trust or familiarity. Take Facebook, for example, Its entire color scheme is blue. That’s why blue is one of the best colors for SEO.

Yellow is for Warnings

Yellow is used for hazard signs, speed limits, construction warnings, radioactive warnings, etc in real life. Hence, it’s considered a color synonymous with negative things. So, you probably shouldn’t use it to add color to your website.

Green is for Environmental Products or the Outdoors

Green is now associated with the environment or the outdoors. Due to the increased awareness of climate change and damage to the planet, green is exclusively associated with nature. Hence, if you want to cater to the environmental products and services niche, this is the color for it.

Green is also associated with peace and tranquility. It also signals trust in the right shade. Take for example, the green “Buy” or “Add to Cart” buttons on e-commerce websites. They draw attention to themselves. However, the green color signals that you can trust them.

Orange Represents Fun or Haste

Orange can often be perceived as a fun color. It draws attention to itself rather than blend into the background. The Denver Broncos logo and the Chicago Bears logo both show that. Amazon also uses the “limited time offer” banner in the orange theme. It suggests urgency or an event happening. Hence, orange is one of the best colors for SEO.

Black Exudes Luxury and Value

The darker the tone of the color is, the more luxurious it seems. That’s how the human mind perceives color. The deeper the blue or the green or the red is, the more luxurious it seems. Nothing exudes this luxury more than black. That’s why tuxedos and black dresses are considered so elite. Hence, if you use black as a theme on your page, you immediately exude luxury and elite status.

This is a good place to start if you want to create an aesthetically pleasing web page for your customers.
